This watch, the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Chronograph, ain’t your regular cheap watch you find at the store. This one’s fancy, real fancy, they say. Costs a pretty penny, too.
Saw a fella sellin’ one of these things, said it was called a “Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Chronograph Listing” and wanted somethin’ like 45,122 bucks for it! Can you believe that? 45,122! What in tarnation would make a watch cost so much? Must be made of gold or somethin’.
They got these things in different sizes, like 38 and 41, whatever that means. And they come in colors too, like shiny metal or gold, and the face can be different colors. Kinda like pickin’ out a new dress, I guess, gotta get the right color.
Folks are always tryin’ to buy and sell these things, lookin’ for good deals. You can find ’em on somethin’ called Carousell Malaysia, whatever that is. Sounds like a fancy market or somethin’. And some folks in Kuala Lumpur are sellin’ a 39mm one, too. All these numbers, makes my head spin.
Why are these watches so darn expensive?
They say these watches are worth a lot even after you buy ’em. People want ’em bad, specially the old ones. Something about bein’ made real good, by folks who know what they’re doin’. And they don’t make a whole bunch of ’em, which I guess makes ’em even more special.

Found someone sellin’ a 2016 one, almost like new, with a panda face, whatever that means. Wanted 75… didn’t say if it was 75 bucks or 75 somethin’ else. If it’s 75 bucks, that’s a steal, ain’t it? But probably not, not with these fancy watches.
So, if you got the money and wanna show off, I guess you can buy one of these Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Chronographs. Me, I’ll stick to my ol’ clock on the wall. Tells the time just fine and didn’t cost me an arm and a leg.
But hey, if you got one of these watches, you’re probably doin’ alright for yourself. Just don’t lose it, or you’ll be cryin’ more than spilled milk.
