You know, that Audemars Piguet watch, the Royal Oak thingy with the blue face and the rose gold? Yeah, that one. It’s mighty fancy, lemme tell ya. All shiny and stuff. My grandson, he showed me a picture. Says it costs a whole lotta money. More than my old cow Bessie, that’s for sure.

And you can read what other folks say about ’em, too. Like reviews, they call it. Just like Mrs. Higgins tellin’ everyone about the new pie shop down the road.

And they talk about “guarantees” and “discounts.” Guarantees mean they promise it works, I guess. Like old man Johnson swearin’ his eggs are fresh. And discounts? That’s just a fancy way of sayin’ it’s cheaper, like a sale. Everyone likes a good sale, don’t they?
So, this Audemars Piguet watch, with its blue face and rose gold, it’s a fancy thing alright. For folks with deep pockets, I reckon. But even an old gal like me can appreciate somethin’ pretty, even if it costs more than Bessie.
