Listen up, gonna tell ya about this Audemars Piguet thing, whatever that fancy name means. Some big shot company, they say, making watches. Swiss watches, ain’t that somethin’? Real expensive stuff, for rich folks, not for the likes of us. Started way back, 1875, two fellas, Audemars and Piguet, slapped their names on it.
Heard they make ’em in a place called Le Brassus, in some valley in Switzerland. Fancy place, I reckon. And some lady, Jasmine, she was runnin’ the show for a bit, granddaughter or somethin’ of that Audemars fella. Guess she knows her watches.
They make all sorts of watches, I hear. Ones that chime the time, ones with calendars, ones that do all sorts of fancy tricks. Got one in 1881, they say, first one with their name. Then, ’92, they made one that tells ya the time every minute, can ya believe that? And then, somethin’ called a Grand Complication pocket watch, tells ya the date forever, has an alarm, and all sorts of other stuff. Rich folks must need all that, I guess.

People from all over write about ’em, in different languages too. Swedish folks, Hungarian folks, all talkin’ about Audemars Piguet. Must be famous, huh? Some folks say it real fancy, with a funny accent. “Odmar Peegay” or somethin’ like that. Fancy talk for fancy watches, I guess.
