You wanna know about that Audemars Piguet watch, huh? Fancy name, ain’t it? Let me tell ya what I heard, piece by piece, like putting together a quilt.
Now, folks say this watch, the Audemars Piguet, it ain’t no cheap thing. Heard tell it’s from Switzerland, where they make all sorts of fancy things. Not like the stuff we get at the five and dime, no sir. This thing, it’s for the rich folk, you know?

That’s more money than most folks see in a year! And that’s just the cheapest one, mind you. Some of ’em are way more. They got ones with diamonds and gold and whatnot, probably cost as much as a house.
What makes ’em so expensive? Well, they say it’s the way they’re made, all fancy and precise. Takes a lot of time and special skills, I reckon. Not like makin’ a pie, where you just throw things together. These watchmakers, they gotta be real careful and know what they’re doin’.
- Workin’ for the company? Heard some folks get paid by the hour, like 18 bucks maybe, just to greet people or somethin’. But the folks who sell the watches, they make a lot more, maybe 43 bucks an hour! That’s good money, ain’t it? But I bet they gotta know how to talk to all them rich folks.
- Hong Kong money? Now, I don’t know much about them Hong Kong dollars, but I heard tell folks working for this company can make a lot of money there too. Like, 247,000 a year just doin’ some marketin’ stuff. And the folks who fix the watches, they make good money too, maybe 24,000 or 25,000 a month. That’s a lot of dough!
If you got one of these watches and wanna know what it’s worth, there are folks who can tell ya. They look at all sorts of things, how many they made, how old it is, stuff like that. They got charts and numbers and whatnot. Sounds complicated to me, but I guess they know what they’re doin’.
