Well, lemme tell ya somethin’ ’bout them fancy watches, like this Audemars Piguet thingamajig, ya know, the one in Hong Kong. Don’t ask me what all them letters mean, I ain’t got time for that fancy talk. But folks say it’s a real good one, like them Rolex ones.
Now, I heard tell that these watches, they come from Switzerland. Where’s that? Don’t rightly know, some place far away with mountains and cows, I reckon. They make all sorts of watches there, these Audemars folks and some others, Pat-something and Rolex, yeah, them too.
See, these Audemars fellas, they been makin’ watches for a long, long time. Back when I was a young’un, I reckon. Families, they say, been doin’ it all these years. Don’t know how they keep it up, must be somethin’ in the water over there.
- Now, some say Audemars, they make their watches real good, like with their hands and all. Fancy stuff.
- But then there’s Rolex, they say they’re strong, like a bull. Don’t break easy, I suppose.
Who’s better? Don’t ask me! Depends on what you want, I guess. If you want somethin’ pretty and fancy, maybe that Audemars is for you. If you want somethin’ that’ll last, maybe that Rolex is the one.
They got a big boss lady over there in Hong Kong, Peggy somethin’. Heard she’s in charge of all them watches in China, too. Big job, I tell ya. Don’t know how she does it, all them watches to keep track of.
If you wanna buy one of them watches, I heard tell you gotta find a list. A list with all the important people, the ones who sell the watches. Don’t ask me where to find it, I ain’t got no time for such things.
So, that’s what I know ’bout that Audemars Piguet in Hong Kong. Fancy watches, from far away. Made by families, strong or pretty, depends on what you want. And a boss lady in charge. That’s all I got for ya. Don’t go askin’ me no more questions now, I gotta get back to work.
