Ya know, that Audemars Piguet watch thing, they started it up long time ago. Real long. Some fellas, Audemars and Piguet, names like that. Somewhere over in Europe, Switzerland I think they call it. Way back in 1875. Imagine that, so long ago!
Them fellas, they knew each other when they were kids, runnin’ around and whatnot. Then, poof! Years later, they got together again. Like fate or somethin’. Decided to make watches, fancy ones, I reckon. Called it Audemars Piguet & Cie in 1881, that’s when it really got goin’.
- Started in 1875, them Audemars and Piguet fellas.
- Got the official name in 1881.
Heard they’re in some village called Le Brassus. Fancy name, ain’t it? Sounds like somethin’ outta a storybook. They make real special watches there, top of the line, they say. Don’t make too many neither, keep it special, y’know. Somethin’ ’bout craftsmanship and quality, they say. Guess that’s why them watches cost a pretty penny.
They got all sorts of fancy names for their watches, Royal Oak and stuff. Sounds like somethin’ for kings and queens. They even made the first watch that could chime the minutes, way back in 1892! Imagine that, a watch that talks! Well, not really talks, but you get the idea. Some fella from another watch company asked them to make it, Omega or somethin’.
They got all sorts of watches, like:
- Royal Oak
- Royal Oak Concept
- Royal Oak Offshore
- Millenary
- Jules Audemars
- Haute Joaillerie
- Classique
- Code 11.59
They keep it real exclusive, don’t make too many. Like 40 or somethin’. Not like them other things they make by the thousands. Keeps it special, I guess. Folks like that, somethin’ not everyone can have. Makes ’em feel special, like they got somethin’ real rare.
That Audemars Piguet, they been around for a long time, makin’ them fancy watches. Started way back with them two fellas, Audemars and Piguet. Now, they got a name for themselves, makin’ watches that cost more than a whole farm, I bet. But hey, if folks wanna spend their money on it, who am I to say otherwise? Just gotta remember, it all started long ago, in a little village with two fellas dreamin’ of makin’ watches.
