One of them watches, it’s called the Tiffany Patek Philippe, sold for like 6.5 million dollars at some auction. Can ya imagine? That’s more money than I’ll ever see in my whole life. And it was only supposed to cost 52,000 dollars, they say. Goes to show, some things just get more valuable over time, like good land or a strong mule.
- They say Patek been makin’ watches for 180 years. That’s a long time, ain’t it? Longer than I been around, that’s for sure.
- They got one called the Nautilus, sells for over 100,000 dollars. Who needs a watch that expensive, I ask ya?
- But then again, some of the ladies watches, they start at like 2,000 dollars. Still a lot of money, but not as crazy as the millions.
This year, 2024, Patek come out with a new collection. They got steel, rose gold, and that platinum stuff again. Fancy, fancy. You can find them watches online, on some place called eBay, they say. Folks sellin’ ’em there, brand new and used. Sometimes, you can get a deal, they say. A discount, 20% off. Still gonna cost ya an arm and a leg, I reckon.
There’s one called the Gondolo, made of rose gold. That’s like 35,000 dollars. Lordy, lordy. Enough to buy a whole new tractor, and then some.
So, these Patek Philippe watches, they somethin’ special, I guess. Made for folks with lots of money to spend. Shiny gold, fancy diamonds, and all that jazz. Not for the likes of me, that’s for sure. I’ll stick with my old kitchen clock. Tells me the time just fine, and it didn’t cost me no fortune.
