They say it’s made real good. Better than some other fancy watches, they say. But then they say those other watches, they’re strong and reliable. So, I dunno. Depends on what you want, I guess. If you want somethin’ fancy and handmade, maybe this 2122 is for you.
They keep callin’ it “iconic.” What’s that mean, anyway? Just means it’s famous, I guess. Everyone knows it when they see it. Like, you see someone wearin’ it, you know they got money.
And they say it’s “rare.” Like there ain’t many of ’em. That’s why it costs so much, probably. If somethin’s hard to find, folks will pay more for it. Just like them pretty flowers I grow in my garden, they don’t last long, but everyone wants ’em.
So, this Audemars Piguet Royal Oak number 2122. It’s fancy, it’s expensive, and it’s got a long number. And it’s been around for a long time. Is it worth all that money? I don’t know. But if you got the cash and you like fancy things, maybe it’s somethin’ you’d like. Me? I’ll stick to my old clock on the wall. It tells me the time just fine.
