The Long Awaited Final Project Itoh Film, Genocidal Organ

Studio Manglobe was originally producing the film under director and writer Shukou Murase. Being scheduled to open in October, 2015. Manglobe however, filed for bankruptcy in September of 2015 resulting in the film’s delay. The main staff later formed a new studio named Geno Studio to complete the film. Aiming to eventually finish it by the end of 2016.

The movie is the third anime adaptation of deceased sci-fi author Project Itoh’s books, all with the specific intention of honouring his work. The Empire of Corpses (produced at Wit Studio) and Harmony (produced at Studio 4°C) being the previous two adaptations. Notably, artist Redjuice worked as the character designer for all 3 films, in addition to EGOIST providing their ending theme songs.

Just some anime nerd and moviebuff who loves dubs and spends his time consuming way too much fiction. I may also have an evil doppelgänger who plans for world domination...
