It was announced a short while ago that the manga Gabriel Dropout would be getting a TV anime. And now we’ve got a PV and all the goodness that one brings!
Gabriel Dropout follows the titular character Gabriel, an top student in her angel school in heaven who is sent down to Earth to help humans and become a true angel. The problem is, Gabriel becomes addicted to video games once on earth and has become very lazy. The series shows her life with other angels and devils as they attend a high school on Earth.
The PV is just a spotlight for the character designs for the most part, as well as introducing us to the main cast of the series. The biggest scoop from the PV, is the voice actresses that will be playing the girls.
Who are the voice actors for Gabriel Dropout?
The series has cast the following voice actors.
- Miyu Tomita (Galko-chan’s Otako) as Gabriel White Tenma
- Saori Onishi (Food Wars’ Hisako) as Weinette April Tsukinose
- Naomi Oozora (Genshiken’s Sue) as Satanichia McDowell Kurumizawa
- Kana Hanazawa (Nisekoi’s Kosaki) as Raphael Einsworth Shiraha
The casting of a somewhat recent voice actor as the star is a bit of a bold move, but hopefully they’ll pull it off. The inclusion of Kana Hanazawa in the cast is sure to excite many, as she’s gathered quite a following over her career. The anime will be directed by Masahiko Ohta at Doga Kobo, who previously worked together on last years Himouto Umaru-chan.
The PV also plugs their website at the end, where all the info from the pv is readily available, as well as having a cute visual.
That wraps up the news from the PV. Are you excited for the anime adaption of Gabriel Dropout? Or are you worried that it’ll be all style and no substance. Leave your thoughts below!
